Spring Team Formation
ID skates are held every October/November to form the Elite, AAA and Silver level teams for each age group. Registration for the ID skates can be found under the "REGISTER NOW" tab below.
All levels will play under the PhD banner with the following names:
PREDATORS (Elite)
PANTHERS (AAA)
PUMAS (Silver)
Season details:
- Evaluations take place during Oct/Nov typically on weekends.
- Team formation of Predators, Panthers and Pumas teams to be created following the ID skates.
- Each team to receive 2-3 in season team development skates between Jan-Mar, 2027.
- Starting after spring break teams will practice between 8-16 times depending on the team demands, receive 4 off ice dryland sessions - and play in 3-4 tournaments with typically 1 out of town.
Cost Breakdown:
- 2-3 winter skates, 4 dryland sessions, 3-4 Tournaments, 8-16 practices starting after spring break and going into mid/later May (depending on the team).
- $500 deposit to get rostered onto a team. Final payment of another $650-1000 due in March. The variance in the final cost is due to teams all having different schedules. Some can practice as much as 16 times and do 4 tournaments while others are a smaller commitment. Finally apparel can cost anywhere from $0-500 depending what your child needs and wants.
Total fees including everything: $1150-1500 paid to PhD plus $0-500 in apparel = Approx. $1500-2000 all in.
